Message Board

Other than to show a bit of this site construction history, this message board is also meant to have contacts with the outside world. For now I'll at least collect here the most important links I've put here and there on the various pages. Every now and then I get some comments by e-mail, and sometimes some criticism. Thank you very much. I'm not going to build a forum on this site since I hardly manage to follow a few (actually I _hate_ them, but, well...), nor a guestbook, for now. Maybe, in the future.

I'm alive! (well, more or less...) As I told you, I'm working a lot on Avventuroso. No, I'm not done with it. Yet I managed to gather some major update to the core rules. It is a time of big changes for Avventuroso: magic... here come the (new) Runes! Still Italian only, I'm afraid
By the way, I'm also doing lots of work for Lone Wolf RPG, though that will probably go on the Italian official home page, not here. On the bright side, I am actually thinking about translating it into English (and soon... ish )! I'm working on several adventures (some all mine, some with others)...

Sorry it's been so long! I've been pretty busy... I'm working really hard on Avventuroso (which I'm not going to translate, yet, it's nasty work and I'll do it only after I'm satisfied with the whole thing - it's painful enough to rewrite without thinking of re-translate it) and it seems neverending ^^^;;;
Oh, well, get your spirits up 'cause I have something to add on (and in English too!): some new herbs for Lone Wolf: the roleplaying game. While waiting for "Darklands" to get here in Italy (I really want to use all those nasty, evil material... >:D ). Yes, I'll probably translate that new, shiny rogue-like character class you can see in the Italian version. Sooner or later. ^^^

After hearing the good news for Italian readers of 3x3 eyes (as Star Comics announced it's going to be reprinted), I decided to put a little more effort in my page about the series (and I've written a real English review this time... wow, it's been ages since I last put any really significant English content in here).

And I'm remaking my pdf files (I will only upload zip from now on, because Altervista seems to corrupt pdf files when uploading O^o). The first one is the short version of Avventuroso.

Ok: my "guide of the perfect chronicler" has been revised. It's still in Italian only; I may translate if requested, but I will only do so after reaching a definitive version. (One of the main reasons I wrote it is that we lacked one in Italian, but that doesn't seem the case in English language, on the contrary, there are many and surely there are some better written than mine.

While my guide is under a heavy work of revision, thanks also to the many contributions I've been very happy to receive, I'm opening a small page on this site for an Italian players association, UnaMoleDiDadi, which is starting its activity right now, and which I belong to. In the meantime while the official site is being completed, I'll put here some advertising on our activities in Turin (Italian only - unless someone requests me to translate) ^^^

After quite a lot of dissatisfaction as I can't seem to be able to get a pdf file with some nice free fonts I had dowloaded ;^; I can say anyway that I've made my "Guida del perfetto Narratore" (guide of the perfect chronicler - in Italian), full of advice to beginner chroniclers (or masters, it's the same). You can find it on Avventuroso page.

I've at last found a good program for making pdf files. And I started working on Avventuroso again: for now I edited the short version only, but I'll soon convert everything. Many thanks to those who had volunteered to do the work for me anyway, I really appreciated it. By the way, should there be someone who would let me use some of his illustrations, I'd hardly be sorry about it! ^^^

The most evident change is the new picture representing me. I use this picture on some forums I write on. (of course it's taken from 3x3 eyes and it should be representing Parvati IV)...
News for the message board: little by little I want to make it at least a window on the work (and comments) about this site. By now I at least make it the main link exchange page (while in other pages I will only put topic related links, only the most important of which will appear in the message board as well).

News for Avventuroso: I'm working at its pdf version. Unfortunately I'm not getting along very well with my tools (Corel Draw, yes, I know, it's not really meant for editing but at least its pdf files are light while MS Word ones are very heavy). So I'll have to learn how to use another one. This is why it seems to be taking forever to get it done. (yeah, I'd really like to get some pictures for it... and translate it...) Anyway I uploaded a "trial" version (Italian): that is, Avventuroso in very, very few words, as I was asked to do on it.hobby.giochi.gdr .
